For Corporate Trainer David Mong, leadership is about more than professional success. He believes it’s about building people up and staying true to the values that shaped him. Born and raised in Kent, Ohio, David grew up with a strong sense of community and discipline. Influenced deeply by his parents and grandparents, he learned early on the importance of work ethic, consistency, and integrity.
From a young age, David was no stranger to responsibility. As the oldest of three siblings, he’s always pushed himself to be a role model for his brothers. Balancing school, part-time work, and multiple sports—including football, basketball, and volleyball—taught him time management, focus, and resilience. He even dreamed of being in the NFL one day! Those early lessons in teamwork and perseverance continue to shape his approach to leadership today.
After attending Kent State University for accounting, David realized his strengths were better suited for a hands-on, people-driven career. He was drawn to business management, where he could combine his competitive spirit with his desire to motivate others. That realization eventually led him to Leomhann Enterprises, where he found a culture rooted in selflessness, integrity, and teamwork—values that align perfectly with his own.

Building a Career with Purpose
Since joining Leomhann Enterprises in March 2025, David’s career growth has been, in his own words, “exponential.” Every day revolves around development and goals, something he hadn’t experienced before.
“Prior to working here, I never had clear goals or a written-out action plan to help me achieve them. Every piece of advice I get throughout the day always revolves around running a business and thinking like a business owner.”
That structure, mentorship, and accountability have helped David grow not just professionally, but personally. He’s become more consistent in his faith and prayer, spends more time reading and listening to motivational books, and starts his mornings with a workout to set a positive tone for the day.
David takes pride in motivating others and keeping energy high in the office — two of his greatest strengths. A defining moment for him was helping a team member achieve tiered sales for the first time. The excitement and sense of accomplishment reminded him of why he’s passionate about leadership: supporting others as they reach new milestones. “My greatest skills are transferring energy and motivating others,” David says.
Focused on Growth and the Future
When asked what makes a great leader, David believes it starts with selflessness. “A good leader is someone who cares for others more than themselves,” he says. “Someone who takes the time to better others, even if it requires more work or sacrifice. Someone who can provide understanding and grace to help their team feel good about their actions.”
Those values are reinforced daily at Leomhann Enterprises, where mentorship from leaders like Jeff, Logan, and Heath has shaped his mindset and leadership approach. The company’s emphasis on teamwork and integrity continues to inspire him to become the best version of himself.
David’s short-term goals include developing his interview skills and building a strong team of five. Long term, he aims to run his own office by 2026 and earn an ownership promotion by 2027. As he continues to grow, his focus remains on balance, faith, and continuous self-improvement.

For anyone considering a career at Leomhann Enterprises, David offers one piece of advice:
“If you want to live like the 1%, you must do things that the 99% won’t do. Take control of your future.”
His journey is proof that with focus, integrity, and the right environment for growth, success is within reach for anyone willing to put in the work. If you’re ready to start building your own path, connect with Leomhann Enterprises to learn more about career opportunities!
